I posted this earlier and got no response, if any of you out there know the answer, I'd be indebted.

I'm wondering if you happen to be knocked down, are you more prone to taking heavier damage? Easier to hit?

If a warrior knocked you down and used sever artery, would you hit more frequently and possibly have greater effect?
(This being a pure warrior using swords/hammer)

For example, a ranger does more damage when they are fighting above an opponent.
Does being on the ground make you an easier target?
